REGIONAL – Veteran Realtor Frank Bertolino has been awarded the prestigious ICON award by his company, eXp Realty, for his exceptional success in selling North Shore real estate.
Bertolino, whose Salisbury-based firm, The North Shore Realty, has 37 agents, including his daughters, Jenna Noone and Jamie Koulouras, who manage the eXp Realty affiliate and help clients buy and sell homes.

The eXp Realty ICON Agent Award is reserved for agents who achieve exceptional production goals and positively impact company culture. This honor signals that these agents are leaders in their field and serve as examples to their colleagues by upholding the core values of eXp Realty.
The 71-year-old Bertolino has been an agent and broker for North Shore properties for 17 years, but he bought and sold his first house when he was 27, shortly after leaving the military. He also owned a successful seafood business.
Asked how many homes and businesses he has sold, Bertolino shakes his head. “I don’t keep track. What I care about is how many happy clients I have had.”
Bertolino may be best known in the community for his volunteer work as a four-time president of the local Lions Club.
“All you have in life is your reputation,” he said. “God put us here to help other people.”
He had The North Shore Realty join eXp Realty because he liked its focus on serving clients, rather than worrying about commissions. He maintains an office in Salisbury, but most of his agents work remotely. He said he stresses integrity and doing what is best for the clients.
eXp has an extensive training course for agents on line, teaching them how to generate business and sales. The training features a personalized avatar for each agent.
Of course, Bertolino’s avatar is bald and has a bushy beard.
