REGIONAL – Looking for a fun, maybe life-enriching experience this summer. Try learning to make pottery or fulfill that childhood dream of shooting a bow and arrow.
There is always try your hand at watercolors or decoupage oyster shell art. Maybe you wish you knew how to protect your email account from the cybercriminals. Or reduce your stress with meditation in Maudsley State Park or take a hike to discover some of Newburyport’s wonderful hidden landscapes.
How can you do this? The Newburyport Adult and Community Education (NACE) offers these and other fascinating courses this summer. Classes run between June 19 and August 12.
“Have some fun, get creative, ignite your curiosity, clean up that cell phone or simply take a break from the crazy days of summer with some relaxing outdoor meditation and stretching,” wrote Patty St. John, NACE director.
For the full schedule and to register online, visit newburyportadulted.org. Classes are available to anyone in the Greater Newburyport region and southern New Hampshire, ages 15 and older.
