BOXFORD – The Town of Boxford launched their Instagram account @Boxford01921 this month as part of an ongoing effort to expand communication and engage more residents in local government. In addition, the Town is introducing #PublicWorksWednesdays, a new social media campaign highlighting the work of the Boxford Department of Public Works (DPW).
Each Wednesday, #PublicWorksWednesdays will showcase the dedicated efforts of the DPW team, providing residents with a behind-the-scenes look at essential services, from road maintenance and storm response to seasonal projects and infrastructure improvements. The campaign will also keep the community informed about the Town’s progress in designing a new DPW facility, a critical investment in Boxford’s future.
“We’re always looking for new ways to connect with residents, and launching @Boxford01921 on Instagram is a great step in expanding our outreach,” said Town Administrator Matt Coogan. “Through #PublicWorksWednesdays, we hope to highlight the incredible work our DPW team does every day while keeping the community informed about our efforts to build a modern, efficient facility that meets Boxford’s needs.” Information on the project can be found on the website, www.boxfordma.gov/NewDPW.
