NEWBURYPORT − Dynegy Energy Services is the new supplier of residential electricity for Newburyport.
Its Community Choice Power Supply Program is a municipal aggregation which enables local government to combine the purchasing power of its residents and businesses to save money by providing residents with an alternative to National Grid Basic Service.
This Program only affects the supply portion of your monthly bill. It will not affect the delivery portion of your monthly bill.
The current rate until next January for the city’s program is $0.13747 per kilowatt hour, compared to National Grid’s rate of $0.17185 per kilowatt hour. ♦
