GROVELAND – It’s that time of year again to volunteer for elected and appointed town positions. This year there are several open elected positions including the Board of Assessors, Select Board, Board of Health, Library Trustees, Cemetery Commission, Light Commission, Housing Authority, School Committee, Water and Sewer Commission, Moderator and Town Clerk. There are also several positions open for appointed positions on town boards and committees.
If you are interested, the first step is to talk to our town clerk at town hall to learn about how to apply for any of the positions. In addition, you can check out the open appointed positions on the town’s web site at grovelandma.com. Remember, our town wouldn’t be able to operate without the help of volunteers. Your service is incredibly valuable to Groveland, so please consider becoming a volunteer! ♦
