Notice is hereby provided that the Town of Georgetown Planning Board will conduct Public Hearings pursuant to M.G.L. c.40A, Sec. 5, on potential amendments to the Zoning Bylaw. Hearings will be to amend Article XVIII Solar Energy Facility and consider adding language to §165-142 through §165-155 for Battery Energy Storage Systems. The purpose of the hearings is to obtain public sentiment so that proper revisions can be made regarding possible Warrant Articles proposed by the Georgetown Planning Board.

The Public Hearings will be on Wednesday, AUGUST 19, 2026 at 7:30 pm.  The hearing to amend §165-142 through §165-155 will begin at 7:30pm. The hearing will be held virtually via Zoom, at which time all interested persons may appear and be heard in relation thereto.
