PLUM ISLAND — This year’s all-volunteer island festival featured approximately 107 accoustic and featured bands on 50 locations across Plum Island, with half-a-dozen food locations, seven shuttle-stops, and countless volunteers, neighbors, and visitors who made PlumFest a success.
From the Blue Inn to the Plum Island Lighthouse, island, local, and regional peformers treated PlumFest attendees to a wide range of music.
Ava Valianti, the 16-year-old singer-songwriter from Newbury continues to impress audiences. Bill Durling, Greg Guba, Jamie Cain, John Feeks, John Copeland, Jonathan Soucy, Lottie Vonne, Luica and Emilia Perruci, Mary Ann McAllister, Philip Corcoran, Richard Wallace, Tom Cook, Kris Veenema, were just a few of the slated performers. Bands included Ruckus, Vices Inc, MugShot, Lonely Oak, Way to the River, , Atlas, Salty Side Down, Town Crier, Lemon House, Basin Boys, The GemTones, Comfortably Plum, Hubcap Romeo, and many more….
The non-profit volunteer-run event was free for all attendees, with donation buckets passed through the crowds to support the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Merrimack Valley, Plum Island Foundation, and other non-profits.
