GEORGETOWN − In an e-mail to the town, Alan Aulson (Great Rock Farm, Goats-to-Go, …) has offered to help restore the Community
Gardens on Andover Street to their
prior splendor.
With the majority of the garden plots abandoned and overgrown, extensive cleanup is needed.
Aulson will present his thoughts on restoration at the upcoming August 20th ConCom meeting. He seeks to protect gardens that are active and in stellar shape (shout-out to David Abbott for example), while restoring the remaining field area to it’s prior splendor for new gardeners. The ConCom meeting begins at 7PM on the 20th.
