And, thank you to the Kiwanis for producing all the banners plus the 15 plus new banners honoring our service men, women, and their families!
Our Georgetown Municipal Light Department for caring for them and raising them on this special day!

Essex Parade 10:00 AM Begins at the fire station and goes through Main Street.
Hamilton Parade: 10:00 AM Starts at Patton Park or Town Hall, marches through main roads to Veterans Memorial.
Newburyport Parade: 10:00 AM: Starts at the High School / Bartlett Mall area, then to Cushing Cemetery or Waterfront.
Salisbury Parade: Usually 10:00 AM: From Town Hall down to Salisbury Beach or Town Common.
Seabrook, N.H. Parade: 10 AM, Begins at Town Hall, proceeds along Main Street to Veterans Park for ceremonies. proceeds along Main Street to Veterans Park for ceremonies.
Georgetown:
- Thursday 21 May @ 5:45 pm – Placement of Flags on veteran graves at Harmony &Union Cemetery
- Saturday 23 May from 8:00 – Noon – American Legion Poppy Drive.
- Monday 25 May @7:30 a.m. – Morning Cemetery Services. Meet at Harmony Cemetery. Carpool to the other cemeteries. (Union Cemetery, South Byfield Cemetery, & VFW Park)
- Monday 25 May @9:30 a.m. – Assemble at the GMHS parking lot.
- Monday 25 May @10:00 a.m. – Memorial Day Commemorative March commences. The planned route stops are: Public Safety Building, Civil War Memorial, and Harry Murch Park.
Newbury: 10 a.m., near Town Hall
West Newbury: The parade will step off from Town Square (the intersection of Main and Maple Streets) at 10:30 AM and proceed down Main Street to the Training Field next to the Library.
Participants should plan to line up beginning at 10:00 AM. The morning will conclude with a Commemorative Ceremony inside Town Hall, 491 Main Steet, across from the G.A.R. Memorial Library.
