IPSWICH — Public Health Department will hold a flu clinic for residents ages 65 and older, in conjunction with the Council on Aging.
The Ipswich Public Health Department will hold a flu clinic that will offer the FluZone High Dose Quadrivalent Ipswich for residents ages 65 and older at Town Hall, Council on Aging Cafeteria, 25 Green St. Wednesday, Oct. 19, from 1-2:30 p.m.
Fluzone High-Dose Quadrivalent is the preferred vaccine option for this season. This vaccine is not approved for people younger than 65 years, or for people of any age with a history of severe allergic reaction to any influenza vaccine or to vaccine components other than eggs.

Those who visit the clinic are asked to wear short sleeves and bring proof of insurance. Masks must be worn in the clinic by state policy. Residents are reminded to stay home if they feel ill.
