HAVERHILL – They’re back! Whittier Regional Vocational School has re-grouped to begin pushing a new tax increase on towns to fund a new school.
The re-constituted building committee will be reaching out and making recommendations.
Why the “Caution” alert? Because the last cycle, they again blew it: failed to convince towns to support a nearly half-billion build-out without allowing the towns to send more students to the school. It was the straw that broke the camel’s back. This time, we’ll see if there are some positive changes that ensure better opportunities for all. More info in upcoming editions. ♦
