SALISBURY – At a recent SelectBoard meeting, Town Manager Neil Harrington recapped recent town meeting and other actions including:
Passage of all articles at town meeting except the acceptance of one public street (postponed to the spring)
Money added to general stabilization fund
Money added capital stabilization fund
Funding five of seven labor contracts
Purchasing a new police cruiser
Adding a new police officer and equipment for the police dept.
Funding to purchase several hundred water meters
Looking forwarded, he summarized the history of past and recent work on updating water and sewer regulations and said he hopes to have a workshop with the SelectBoard and public hearings to change any regulations. ♦
