GREATER NEWBURYPORT –Looking to try something new this fall? Whether you’re interested in exploring a creative hobby, learning
practical life skills, or preparing for college, Greater Newburyport Adult and Community Education
(GNACE) has a class designed for you in mind — and fall class registration is now open! Space is limited, and many classes fill quickly up so it is recommended that students register early.
The fall session runs from September 6 through December 4, with over 60 exciting classes to choosefrom. Whether you want to take a one-night workshop or an eight-week course, you’ll find opportunities to learn, create, and connect with others in the community.
Here’s just a sampling of what’s being offered this fall:
Watercolor, Expressionistic, and Acrylic Painting, Canning, Crime Scene Investigations, Archery, iPhone Photography, Holiday Crafts with Mussel Shells and Oyster Shells, Paleontology, Personal Cybersecurity, Bitcoin & Crypto, Meditation and Slow Flow Yoga, Screens and the Anxious Mind, Japanese Bookbinding, World Languages, Cribbage, and so much more!
GNACE is also offering SAT Prep classes for college-bound juniors and seniors beginning on Monday, Sept. 22 as well as English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for non-native speakers beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
Classes are open to anyone 15 and older in the Greater Newburyport region and southern New Hampshire.
