NEWBURYPORT – The Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce invites the community to celebrate the season at this year’s annual Fall Fest on October 12 and 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This autumn staple will feature a weekend of family-friendly activities, local vendors, seasonal foods, and live entertainment. This year, the Chamber is excited to bring back the Scarecrow Contest, a nostalgic addition that adds a festive twist to the celebration.

For the first time in recent years, the Scarecrow Contest returns to Fall Fest, inviting local businesses, families, and community groups to create their own unique scarecrows. These creative displays will be placed around downtown Newburyport, transforming the city streets into a charming fall scene. Festival-goers can enjoy the scarecrow displays while strolling through town and vote for their favorite entries.
