ESSEX COUNTY – A coalition of nonpartisan, civic organizations will be hosting candidate forums for the Essex County Sheriff and Eastern District District Attorney (D.A.) races.
ESSEX COUNTY — The Essex County Sheriffs’ Forum will be held on Thursday, 11 August, 7:00 p.m., on Zoom. The candidates for sheriff are Kevin Coppinger and Virginia Leigh.
The Eastern District D.A.s’ Forum will be held on Thursday, 18 August, 7:00 p.m., on Zoom. The candidates for D.A. are James O’Shea and Paul Tucker.
All candidates are Democratic contenders and will appear on the primary ballot on Tuesday, 6 September. A full list of polling places, early and absentee voting options, and poll hours are available on the Secretary of the Commonwealth website. Both forums will have Spanish translation.
