The Friends of the Rowley Library seeks new secretary

Wednesday March 09, 2022

ROWLEY – The Friends of the Rowley Library is looking for a new secretary. Our current one sadly moved away from the area. We are a fun and active bunch. The current board consists of VP Laura DiPersia, Treasurer Steve Markarian and Sieglinde Aigner-Crooks, President. We meet Wednesday evenings every other month on even months, with a kick off meeting each January. The next meeting is April 6th at 7:00pm at the library. The secretary takes all the meeting notes, designs posters for events and assists with fundraising activities such as the plant, book and cookie sale, if possible. We are always fortunate to have many volunteers. The Friends of the Rowley Library is a volunteer, nonprofit organization seeking to enrich the life of our growing and diverse town by sponsoring cultural, educational and intergenerational programs. The Friends raises funds to support library programming and improvements through its book, plant and cookie sales as well as the annual May Friends membership drive. Email friendsboard@rowleylibrary.org if you’d be interested in joining us in our great mission.
