Join The Newburyport Library for an afternoon of poetry with the Powow River Poets Saturday, November 13, from 3:00 pm – 4:15 pm. Readings are free, accessible, and open to the public. The poets reading this month are Chris O’Carroll and Al Basile. Come early to sign up for open mic.
Chris O’Carroll is author of The Joke’s on Me and the newly published Abracadabra Tube. A member of Actor’s Equity, he has performed widely, doing everything from Shakespeare to stand-up comedy. Al Basile is a songwriter, singer, poet, playwright, and cornet player. He has published three books of poetry. He is the host of the online poets-in-conversation show Poems On.
