The first session of the 2-part virtual series on storing and protecting family heirlooms will be held on Tuesday, November 9th at 7 pm. Preserving Your Past – An Introduction to Collections Care. “An Introduction to Collections Care” (VIRTUAL). This first session will lay the foundation for saving your family heirlooms. Participants will come away with an understanding of how to protect family collections and save them for future generations.
The second session will be held on Tuesday, November 30th at 7 pm. Preserving Your Past – Tips on Stewarding Family Collections. “Tips on Stewarding Family Collections” (VIRTUAL). This second session will review good practices for storing and handling your family heirlooms and papers. Participants will come away knowing how to store family photos, papers, and other heirlooms.
