Community Candlelight Service of Remembrance in Rowley

Rowley-The First Congregational Church of Rowley, 175 Main Street will be having a Twentieth Anniversary Community Candlelight Service of Remembrance on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 7;00 p.m.

Rev. Tom Bentley, Pastor of First Church, and Father Michael O’Hara, Pastor of St. Mary’s Church will be co-officiating the service. Town Officials participating in this service of healing are Joseph Perry, Rowley Selectman, Rowley Chief of Police, Scott Dumas, Rowley Fire Chief James Broderick as well as Retired Lieutenant Michael Wilbur of Ladder Company 27, Bronx, New York who will bring a message of remembrance of September 11. Special music will be provided by retired church organist Marge Thurston.

There will be time for fellowship and refreshments after the service. Face masks are strongly suggested.
