The 5th Annual Massachusetts Eat Local Month began August 1st. It’s a statewide campaign to educate restaurants and consumers on the benefits of sourcing food from within our local food system in Massachusetts. Everyone is encouraged to ‘eat local’ at restaurants or visit farmers’ markets or farm stands.
Farm to Table is an initiative that promotes eating locally grown foods at restaurants in order to enhance sustainability. Local restaurants are realizing the importance of eating and utilizing locally grown food in order to create the freshest, unique plates.
