PLUM ISLAND SOUND KAYAKING TOUR JUNE 12

Monday June 07, 2021

Join the Merrimack River Watershed Council on a paddling trip in the Plum Island Sound with local company Plum Island Kayak on Saturday afternoon June 12th . The Council invites the community to explore the river from a kayak. The paddle will begin on Plumbush Creek. The guide will lead the group inside the rich, biodiverse, Plum Island Sound. The tour will always stay on protected waters and never out on the open ocean. This will be a 3-hour tour with a blend of relaxation, exploration, and adventure, to get you out on the water, and into the sunshine! The parking location is right before the Plum Island Turnpike bridge. These trips are timed specifically to work with the tides, so please be punctual! The tour guide can not wait for late comers.

The sign up form contains 3 links to: a Payment platform, a MRWC waiver and Plum Island Kayak waiver. You must fill out both waivers and pay for the trip to be considered registered. If you do not receive a confirmation in your inbox within 48 hours of registering it means that you are missing a waiver or your payment did not go through.

The cost is $50 per person, equipment and guide included in the price. At this time we are not allowing people to bring their own kayaks. Email volunteer@merrimack.org if you have any questions.
