TOWN OF BOXFORD – PLANNING BOARD AND TREE WARDEN
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REMOVAL OF PUBLIC SHADE TREE & SCENIC ROADS ACT
The Boxford Planning Board and the Tree Warden will hold a Public
Hearing pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 87, Sections 3 & 4 (Removal of Public
Shade Trees) & Chapter 40, Section 15C (Scenic Roads Act) to consider the
removal of 17 linear feet of existing stone retaining wall along the northern
property line and the removal of a 10” deciduous tree (Hickory) within the
public Right of Way of MacDonald Drive located near an undeveloped lot on
MacDonald Drive (Assessor’s Map 13-3-12). The tree is posted with a notice
as required.
Said hearing will be held via Zoom teleconference on Wednesday, July 17,
2024 at 7:30 PM. The Zoom information will be available on the Town of
Boxford webpage calendar several days prior to the hearing, or can be requested
from rpovenmire@town.boxford.ma.us.
