Ipswich and Rowley Firefighters conducted ice rescue training Sunday morning in the Ipswich River on County Street at the end of Elm Street. They practiced self-rescue as well as rescuing a victim on an ice shelf using ropes and also using a rescue boat. There was great teamwork amongst the two departments.
