TOWN OF ROWLEY
The Town of Rowley is seeking a full-time Cemetery Supervisor/Highway Truck Driver & Equipment Operator to work in the Cemetery and Highway Departments. This position is responsible for maintaining the Town’s Cemetery property and maintaining and repairing Town roads, sidewalks and drainage systems. The position works under the supervision of the Board of Cemetery Commissioners, Highway Surveyor, and Highway/Tree Foreman. Minimum qualifications include High School diploma or equivalent, valid Massachusetts Commercial Driver’s License-Class B with Air Brake Endorsement and Massachusetts Hoisting License 2-B: Backhoes. A minimum of one year’s experience driving heavy trucks is required and experience using computers and word processing and spreadsheet software is desired. Starting rate effective July 1, 2021 is $25.11/hr. with six-month adjustment. Position is Grade 8 and is in the AFSCME Bargaining Unit.
