The Town of West Newbury is seeking residents interested in serving on the Parks & Recreation Commission!
The Parks & Recreation Commission is an elected board that currently has one vacancy due to the resignation of a member. The Commission plays an important role in supporting the Town’s parks, recreational programs, and community spaces. This is a great opportunity for residents looking to get involved and make a positive impact in West Newbury!
Under Mass General Laws, vacancies on elected boards may be filled through a joint appointment process between the remaining members of the Commission and the Select Board.
The individual appointed would serve until the next Annual Town Election in May 2027.
