For care partners, those living with long-term illness or memory changes, and the general public to experience the healing power of Rest-Stop-Ranch. Enjoy self-guided walk or a guided flower tour (different plants highlighted each month). Most Tuesdays/Thursdays, 1 – 4 p.m., April through November. Free. A restorative outdoor experience for care partners and their loved ones, offering a peaceful Sunday escape into the beauty of wheelchair-accessible gardens. Second Sunday of the month, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., April through November. Free. Parking is limited, so registration by hourly appointment is required. The staggered arrival times ensure that the garden paths remain quiet and peaceful, giving visitors the space to truly relax. Memory Café at
Rest-Stop-Ranch
An opportunity for people experiencing memory changes and their family or care partners to connect, network, and engage in accessible, stress-free, shared activities. April – October, the café is held in the wheelchair-accessible gardens (weather permitting; if necessary, it moves indoors). November – March, participants gather in the cozy Caretaker’s Cottage, and nature comes inside through hands-on horticultural therapy, such as flower arranging and sensory plant crafts. Second Saturday of every month, 10 a.m. – noon. Free (though optional donations to help cover craft supplies are gratefully accepted). Parking is limited, so registration is required.
