BOXFORD − Seasonal memberships for Stiles Pond Beach are now on sale Stiles Pond Beach is scheduled to open for the season on Saturday, June 20, and residents are encouraged to purchase their seasonal passes online through the Town’s website before opening day.
As part of the season opening, the Town will host a Stiles Pond Beach Community Day on Friday, June 19. All Boxford residents are invited to visit and enjoy the beach free of charge, regardless of whether they have purchased a seasonal membership. Community Day will provide residents an opportunity to experience one of Boxford’s most treasured recreational assets, reconnect with neighbors, and visit the beach before the season officially opens.
This year marks an important milestone for the community, as 2026 is the first season that Stiles Pond Beach will be operated directly by the Town of Boxford following the transition from the Boxford Athletic Association. The Town is committed to maintaining the traditions that generations of residents have enjoyed while continuing to enhance operations and accessibility for families.
Residents may purchase seasonal memberships through the Town’s online payment portal available on the Town website.
The Select Board recently approved a reduction in the cost of a Family Seasonal Membership from $250 to $150 to encourage greater participation and make the beach more affordable for Boxford families. Individual Seasonal Memberships are available for $50. All seasonal memberships are available to Boxford residents only.
The Town will continue utilizing the wristband system residents have used in previous years to access the beach. After purchasing a seasonal membership online, residents should bring proof of payment and proof of residency, such as a driver’s license, to Stiles Pond Beach. Beach staff will provide membership wristbands along with seasonal parking stickers for participating households. The seasonal parking sticker program is new for 2026 and is intended to improve parking management.
Family memberships are available for up to two named adults residing in the same household and their children or grandchildren under the age of 25. Family memberships include two seasonal parking stickers. Individual memberships include one seasonal parking sticker. Day passes and guest passes are also available.
