Come to the Friends of the Georgetown Peabody Library book sale and find that one book you’re looking for, or stock up for your summer reading! Twice a year, the Friends conduct these much- loved community book sales at the Library, offering donated materials for bargain-basement prices.
Spring book sale dates and times are: Wednesday, March 18 – 2 PM to 8 PM; Thursday, March 19 -10 AM to 5 PM; Friday, March 20 -10 AM to 5 PM; Saturday, March 21 – 9 AM to 1 PM – Saturday is the bag sale! Just $10 to fill a bag.
Donations for the book sale may be brought to the library starting on Thursday, March 12 to Tuesday, March 17, during library hours. The Library is located at 2 Maple Street, Georgetown.
Donations can include books, DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, puzzles, board games, audiobooks. In each case, the item must be gently used and free from mold. Before donating, ask yourself if you’d be comfortable giving the item to a family member or friend. If yes, then we will be happy to include it in the sale.
