NEWBURYPORT – Newburyport Art (NAA) had an opening reception of their ‘Coming Home’ exhibition on July 27th which included a plaque dedication to Newburyport Bank Charitable Foundation Range Light Community Sculpture Garden. Their generous donation, over the course of the last three years, extends the life of this place for visitors to rest along the rail trail, while being inspired by regional artists’ sculptures (photo by AJ Simmons, pictured: Lloyd Hamm, Tim Felter, Belle Carver Struck & Jim McCarthy).

A lively evening was had on July 28th with artists “coming home” to discuss how Newburyport influenced their creative passions of visual art, film, music and writing. The exhibition displaying their artworks is through August 20th (photo by Eric Wojnarowski, pictured: Belle Carver Struck with panelists Paul Wann, Michael Angelis, Kate Bolick, Nickole Beckwith, Paul-Emile Cendron, Camela Murphy, Sam Szabo, Gordon Przybyla and Edward “Teddy” Speck)
