certain days:
The Georgetown Water Department reports that a mandatory Phase 2 Water Ban is currently in effect. This is due to the Parker River’s low stream flow.
Restrictions include the following:
Mandatory ban of Non-Essential outdoor watering between hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily.
Non-Essential water use which is not allowed from 7 am to 7 pm daily includes:
- Washing buildings
- Washing driveways
- Washing sidewalks
(Unless necessary for repairs/maintenance/safety/health.)
Unattended Non-Essential outdoor watering is restricted to 2 days a week:
Odd house numbers on Mondays and Thursdays (outside the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Even house numbers on Tuesdays and Fridays (outside the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
No weekend sprinkler system watering.
