GEORGETOWN – Three Georgetown large dump trucks and two Georgetown pickup trucks were on site last Friday as the entire Carlton Drive roadway – full-width, all the way to a turn-around circle at the future Mello Trash Transfer Station underwent a rebuild.
In addition to the five marked Georgetown vehicles, a grade, a roller, and a large backhoe made steady progress in dispersal of materials.
The street upgrade was noted as required to allow Mello’s trucks and other large transport trucks usage of the hairpin turn roadway which was deemed to have an inadequate base.
Costs to rebuild the roadway for the newly located private business was not available at press time.
Construction at the site progresses. ♦
