Gabrielle Aulson is a graduating senior in the Georgetown Class of 2025. Like many of her peers, she has some impressive accomplishments—Honor Roll, Vice President, and Volleyball Captain. Yet, these achievements are not what truly define Gabrielle.
For those who don’t know her, here’s a little insight:
She’s a proud, slightly crazy cat mom to her beloved girls—Pishoe, Esmeralda, and Bluette. She is a Harry Potter and Top Gun fanatic. She can guess anyone’s astrological sign on the spot (she’s an Aquarius, by the way). She’s unbelievably strong-willed and most definitely an old soul.
Gabrielle’s best qualities run far deeper than any award or letter grade. It has been inspiring to witness how much she has grown into herself over the years.
To Gabrielle—and to all graduating seniors—my advice is this:
As you begin this next chapter of life, choose yourself. Make the choice that might not be the easiest, but the one that brings you closer to the life you dream of. No matter where you go, remember that it’s your unique qualities that make you you—and that’s something truly special.
Gabrielle, it feels like just yesterday we were sharing a room and making at-home movies, congratulations on graduating. I love you so much! ♦
