HAVERHILL – The Pentucket Bank Charitable Foundation has committed $50,000 over five years to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank to support the construction of its new food distribution center.
This major project aims to raise $7.8 million to expand the organization’s capacity to combat hunger across the region.
The Merrimack Valley Food Bank is dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of the community by providing critical access to nutritious food.
Serving over 100 member agencies – including local food pantries and meal programs in 33 communities – the organization directly assists children, teens, older adults, individuals with disabilities, and low-income families in Greater Lowell.
