Apply for Grants at ECCF

The Essex County Community Foundation (ECCF) is opening a new funding round through the NiSource Charitable Foundation Fund for Merrimack Valley.

Grants between $25,000-$200,000 are available to nonprofit organizations in the areas of basic needs and hardship assistance, economic and workforce development, safety, STEM and energy education and environmental stewardship.

“We’re offering an information session that will help you learn more about the grantmaking process and eligibility requirements. We hope you can join us to learn more about this program and its impact,” the announcement stated.

As an organization dedicated to strengthening the nonprofits of Essex County, ECCF has evolved into an innovative and deeply connected foundation inspiring social change throughout the county.

Essex County Community Foundation inspires philanthropy that strengthens the community by managing charitable assets, strengthening and supporting nonprofits and engaging in strategic community leadership initiatives. Essex County’s ultimate goal is to promote integrity, collaboration, equity, inclusivity, and joy in its 34 towns and cities.

Letters of intent must be submitted online by no later than 5 p.m., Wednesday Jan. 15. Late letters of intent will not be accepted.
