Rowley Water Dept. Announces Start of Water Main Extension Project
ROWLEY — The Rowley Water Department is pleased to announce that work will begin on a water main extension project that will enhance the long-term health and capacity of the water supply system.
Work will start on Fenno Drive at the intersection of Central Street, and continue up to Mansion Drive.
The first phase will begin on Monday, Oct. 16. The civil engineering firm GCG Associates will perform a ground survey and also use a drone to identify existing services. Work will be performed Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:40 p.m.
GCG employees will be wearing safety vests and display adequate signage. CGC employees may need access to properties up to the structure, and will be accompanied by a Water Department employee at all times.
Construction is expected to take eight weeks in the late spring of 2024.
The Department will update residents with the start and end dates for the project. For more information and regular project updates, please visit our website at www.rowleywater.com or contact the office at 978-948-2640.
The District thanks the Rowley community for its patience during this project.
