Ipswich Public Health Department to Hold Flu Vaccination Clinic
IPSWICH – Public Health Director Colleen Fermon and the Ipswich Public Health Department would like to share information on this year’s flu vaccination clinic, held in partnership with the Ipswich Council on Aging and Conley’s Drug Store.
When:
Wed., Oct. 18, from 1-3 p.m.
Where:
Council on Aging Cafeteria, Town Hall, 25 Green St., Ipswich, MA
Who:
Ipswich residents aged 50 & up.
What:
The Ipswich Public Health Department has partnered with the Council on Aging and Conley’s Drug Store to offer a flu vaccination clinic for residents aged 50 and up.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends everyone six months and older get vaccinated every flu season. It takes about two weeks for protection to develop after vaccination.
Fluad Quadrivalent adjuvanted influenza vaccine (for those 65+) and Flucelvax Quadrivalent influenza vaccine will be offered at the clinic.
Pre-registration is required and can be done through Conley’s Drug Store website.
Shingles, Pneumonia, TDAP, and RSV vaccines can also be provided if chosen during the pre-registration process.
