WEST NEWBURY – Pentucket Arts Foundation is hosting a free talk this month on a unique and exciting health and wellness trend. The Arts Prescription Program promotes regular exposure to the fine and performing arts to address the growing epidemic of mental health issues and rising feelings of isolation across the country.
The Program enables healthcare providers to prescribe arts and culture experiences for their patients, offering both mental and physical health benefits. First in the nation to utilize this innovative form of treatment, Massachusetts serves as a model for other states. The free event kicks off the non-profit’s 2026 Arts Talk Series.
