Peabody-based social and human services agency Bridgewell opened a new medical residential program on Birchwood Terrace in Groveland last month.
The fully accessible program, renovated by Cornerstone Construction, includes a dedicated nursing staff and serves four individuals with developmental and physical disabilities.
Birchwood Terrace marks an expansion of Bridgewell’s residential programs to serve individuals with high medical needs that require around-the-clock care.
Nearby residents, local officials, and representatives from the Mass. Department of Developmental Services celebrated the new addition to the community with a tour of the newly refurbished space.
As Bridgewell’s first program in Groveland, the home embodies the agency’s commitment to making care available throughout Northeastern Mass. for all who need it.
