GEORGETOWN State-Wide Ballot Questions Discussion Jan. 10th 10 A.M. at the Public Library

Wednesday January 07, 2026

A group called Partners in Democracy will be coming to the Georgetown Peabody Library on Saturday, January 10 at 10:00 am to speak about the  ballot questions that will be on the ballot later this year.

Some of the issues covered will be:

  • Fairer legislative pay
    (“stipend reform”)
  • Legislative transparency
  • Same-day voter registration
  • Restoring voting rights for folks
    incarcerated for felony
    convictions
  • Voter I.D. requirements for
    voting

This event is open to the public so please consider attending and spread the word to your members. These ballot questions are vitally important and provide a chance for voters to make the necessary changes that our elected officials won’t make.

Hope to see you there!
