The Newburyport Choral Society (NCS) is a non-auditioned community chorus that welcomes singers of all ag-es from Essex County, southern NH, and the seacoast area.
Register now to sing selections from Felix Mendelssohn’s dramatic
oratorio Elijah, and newly published choral works of his older sister, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel.
Our first two rehearsals of the 2026 spring semester are OPEN for anyone to experience the chorus with no
obligation to pay.
