Wreaths Across America Ceremonies Show Honor and Respect for All Veterans

Wednesday December 17, 2025

REGIONAL – Thousands gathered throughout the region last Saturday to participate in Wreaths Across America programs to honor veterans this holiday season.

A Christmas wreath is laid at the base of each veterans grave, thanks to the generous donations of those who support the annual program, and the many volunteers who unload trucks and go from grave to grave.

In Rowley, the ceremony began at 10 a.m. and included veterans, first responders, elected officials and residents who gathered to honor those who have served. SEE PHOTOS INSIDE.

In Georgetown, Taps was played at 11 a.m. as the Georgetown Police Color Guard gave honor to those who have served. Individual wreaths dedicated to each branch of the service and first responders were presented by Harper, Kevin Leeman, Sam Demao, Doug Dawes, Steve Horn, Robert Fogle, Roger Mercaldi Jr., David Sedgwick, and Alan Aulson.

Thanks to so many who have shared photos (inside) and photos of the Wreaths Across America farm in Maine, as well as some surprises. ♦
