To the Editor:
On Mother’s Day May 11, 2025, I left for a few hours with my friend to get lunch and when I returned, the patio set I had placed it under a tree in my yard, just beyond my fence, was gone. We both still mourn the loss of our mothers all these years later so we were trying to make the most of the day.
We owned this wood furniture for many years so it was old but the table was unique, octagon in shape and included four chairs which were also not perfect and the set was made very well. I had it pressure washed so it was also very clean.
I know it’s unlikely, but if the person who stole my furniture reads this, I would hope that they would return it to me. I just cannot understand why someone would steal items from private property. And on Mothers Day! They could have at least waited til I was home and asked me first.
