“Joyful Watercolors” Found in Newbury

NEWBURY – Watercolor Interest Group of the Newburyport Art in conjunction with the Newbury Public Library, Byfield will be hosting “Joyful Watercolors” an exhibition of watercolors at the Newbury Public Library Nov. 21 through to Jan. 7, 2024.
Twenty-one members of the group will exhibit work that will be on view to the public from Nov. 21 to Jan.7, 2024. Meet the artists at the Artists’ Reception on Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 4-7:00 pm. MaryAnn McCarthy McCardle, exhibiting watercolorist, will also be completing a watercolor demonstration onsite at this reception opening. A second reception will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 12-2pm. At this time, the artists will be offering activities for all ages. There will be prints, cards, calendars, ornaments, etc available at both receptions.
Come for good conversation, to learn about the medium, light refreshments and to support these local watercolor artists members. Free and Handicap Accessible. This exhibit is possible in part due to a Massachusetts Cultural Council Grant.
