April Vacation Week Youth Events

The Rowley Public Library is delighted to present the following events for April Vacation week, which is the 17th through the 21st. The following list includes the dates, times, and brief descriptions of each event. I have also included a graphic if that would be more convenient to use rather than this list.
· April 18th from 1:00 to 2:30 PM: Rowley Library Ice Cream Social | Bring the whole family in for a sweet treat and musical beats! We’ll have plenty of ice cream, toppings, and fun songs to keep you entertained. Registration is required for this event. Please see our calendar to register. All ages are welcome!
· April 19th from 10:30 to 11:30 AM: Books & Bubbles on the Library Lawn | Join Miss Ari & Miss Sarah on the Library Lawn at 10:30 AM for some uplifting stories followed by bubbly fun! No registration is required for this event. Recommended for children ages 3+ (siblings welcome).
· April 19th from 1:30 to 12:30 PM: Spring Snow Globes for Tweens & Teens | Spring is in the air, and flowers are blooming! Join Miss Ari for an afternoon of crafting your very own Spring Snow Globe. Registration is not required for this event, however, supplies are limited. For kids ages 11+.
· April 20th from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM: Bracelet Buddies | Join us in the craft room at any time between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM to create your very own pair of friendship bracelets! We’ll have a variety of letter beads, colorful beads, and charms so you can make something unique for yourself and a friend!
· April 20th from 5:00 to 6:15 PM: Tween & Teen Trivia |Kids ages 11+ are invited to join us for an evening of trivia & pizza! Team registration is required. Team sizes can range from 1 to 4 people. Our theme for this trivia will be pop culture! Registration is required. Please see our calendar to register.
· April 22nd from 10:30 to 11:30 AM: Dinosaur Egg Hunt | Rumor is that some dinosaur eggs have made their way into the Children’s Room! Join us in hunting them down! Then stick around for a story & craft. No registration is required. All ages are welcome to join us, but the hunt and craft are suitable for ages 3+
· April 25th from 3:30 to 4:30 PM: Karin Gertsch Author Visit | Come to the library for a special reading of the wonderfully illustrated children’s book, “Flora Has an Adventure” by local author Karin Gertsch. You’ll hear the entertaining and delightful story of Flora, a hen who lays green eggs! Afterward, stick around for a craft. No registration required. Ages 3+.
