Dear Windhover Friends,
Windhover has been awarded a FY2022 Destination Development Capital Grant from theMassachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism. This $25,000 matching grant allows Windhover to complete a much-needed expansion and update to its restrooms, modernizing them and adding an ADA accessible restroom so that everyone can enjoy performances at Windhover. However, we must raise our matching funds and complete the project by June 30, 2022. Help Windhover raise $25,000 in matching funds. To make a donation today in any amount visit: https://windhover.org/donate/
We have already received a $5,000 donation from an anonymous donor to move this project forward quickly. This is your moment to help Windhover where it counts with an infrastructure improvement that impacts every audience member who attends a class, a workshop, retreat, or performance.
There are no extensions for this $25,000 matching grant, and if we cannot raise our match and complete the project by the end of June, we will lose this valuable opportunity. We are grateful for the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism’s generous support and its investment in Windhover.
The new restroom expansion will provide much needed space and privacy, allowing for showers in both the women’s and men’s bathrooms. A separate ADA accessible bathroom will complete the restroom transformation. Our goal is to keep all of you informed with the progress. As we move into April, and meet our matching grant requirements, we will share the final plan and photos.
Along with the permanent frame tent for outdoor performances, this restroom expansion is a game changer. With your generous support to meet the $25,000 match, Windhover can launch this vital upgrade to the campus to accommodate the needs of all audience members. Your donation is tax deductible.
With appreciation and gratitude,
Lisa Hahn, Executive Director
