Newburyport – Newburyport Bank has donated $5,000 to the Maudslay Arts Center as a 2022 Season Sponsor.
Located in Newburyport, the Maudslay Arts Center is a popular cultural and entertainment destination that has served tens of thousands of patrons since its founding in 1992. While best known for its outstanding summer concert series, it has also been a venue for weddings, corporate functions and educational activities.
Lloyd L. Hamm, President & CEO of the Bank, spoke of the great difficulties that arts venues have faced as a result of the pandemic and their efforts to get up and running again. “The arts are so important for society as a whole, and the Maudslay Center plays such an important part in that. With the pandemic winding down, people are relishing the thought of attending events. Not only cultural ones, but also family gatherings such as weddings. The Maudslay Center is the ideal location for all of those, and we’re very pleased to support them in any way.”
