Newburyport – Newburyport Bank has donated $2,000 as an Event Underwriter sponsor of the Hampton Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner.
Each year the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce holds this event to recognize and bestow awards to local businesses that lead the community. Awards are presented for Business of the Year, Faith in the Future, and the President’s Award. The event itself will take place on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 5-7 pm at Ashworth by the Sea in Hampton, NH.
“If ever there was a time to honor our local businesses, this is it,” said Lloyd L. Hamm, President & CEO of the Bank. “The impact of the pandemic has been especially burdensome on local businesses. Many were closed for an extended period of time. Yet, they become resourceful and found ways to continue serving the needs of their customers. That is really something to celebrate and we’re happy to support the Chamber in recognizing these businesses.”
