Newburyport – Newburyport Bank has donated $5,000 to The Music Hall, located in Portsmouth, NH, in sponsorship of their Director’s Club.
Originally founded in 1878 as a Vaudeville theater, The Music Hall is now at the very center of historic Portsmouth. Through a diverse series of music and arts events, The Music Hall attracts over 130,000 patrons every year.
“We are incredibly happy to see The Music Hall up and running again,” said Lloyd L. Hamm, President & CEO of the Bank. “For over 140 years this cultural gem has brought so much to the Greater Seacoast. Significantly impacted financially by the pandemic, we’re proud to do a small part to support it and keep it vibrant in our community for many years to come.”
