Following a recent Divine Liturgy and Pentecost service at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Newburyport, high school graduates were awarded scholarships for their accomplishments.
All 4 students recognized graduated from Newburyport High School. From left are Samuel Cooper who will attend the College of William and Mary, Niko Bifsas who will attend Northern Essex Community College,
Demetri Connor who will attend Arizona State University, Father Costin Popescu, Irene Katsoulis from the Greek Ladies Aid Society, Scholarship Committee members Arthur Housianitis and John Housianitis. Not pictured but also receiving scholarship gifts was Alex Georgopoulos who will attend Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
