The Friends of Newbury Town Library will be holding the Annual Friends Plant Sale outside the library at 0 Lunt St, Byfield on Saturday, May 22 from 8:30am to 12:30pm. All proceeds pay for library programs for children and adults during the year. In 2019 the Plant Sale raised a total of $3,173.00. The fundraiser is a major source of revenue for the Friends. There will be a large selection of quality, locally grown, plants and flowers for sale to support the library.
The Friends is a small non-profit charity organization. Raffles of various items will also be on hand for a chance to win something exciting. To ensure the safety of shoppers and staff, the event will be following COVID-19 protocols as recommended by the CDC. Masks are required and respect social distancing guidelines should be followed.
